Flying to one of our Fishing Lodge Destinations?

Passenger Flights to Lodges

Gate L2: Clients check in at Gate L2 at the Main (aka "South") Anchorage Terminal on the baggage claim level with i.d. (drivers license or  passport, or other government issued i.d.) one hour before the flight departure time which should be provided by your lodge contact.

  • Passenger Check-in: If you are arriving from outside the terminal, drive to the far end of the lower level (baggage claim or "Arrival level") to  Door no. 7. A TransNorthern agent will be waiting straight through the doors up the ramp for you one hour before the flight departure time.  From inside the terminal, follow the signs to gate L2 on the lower level. Passengers can comfortably be at our gate 1 hour before departure with  baggage to be checked in by our agent waiting for you at our TransNorthern Aviation flight counter.

Baggage & Freight: We strongly suggest no more than 50 lbs. per passenger plus a 10 lb carry-on.  Hazmat & Alcohol: There are signs posted at our gate about prohibited hazardous materials and also dry Alaska villages where alcohol is not permitted.   Consuming alcohol on the flights is prohibited. Fire Arms are permitted unloaded in checked baggage.  TransNorthern "TNA" bag tags with the lodge name, passenger’s name, and weight is listed by our customer service agent on all bags. TNA tags should remain on the baggage for the return trip from the lodge for name reference.

For Additional detailed information, please contact your lodge.  Thanks very much for choosing TransNorthern for your flights!
